I just wanted to drop a line to all of you to thank you so much for everything you did to make my group family vacation wonderful! This was by far the best vacation I have ever had! The villas were all beautiful...the pictures on the web did not do them justice. There was no a single unhappy person. My 6 year old cried when it was time to leave; saying...in her very sad voice how much she was going to miss "this place" and how she wanted to stay one more week. The sentiments were shared with the entire group. You can rest assure that we all will be coming back...hopefully sooner than later!
Thank you all once again in everything that you did to help me plan an awesome family vacation.

My family and I rented the Villa for 6 days. From the moment I arrived to the time we left everything and everyone was PERFECT!. The owner, Norm, was 100% spot on in everything he told us! This place is super, super, super clean-I have a 3 yr old. The staff was first Class- Josi can cook her %$#$% off- anything you want she can make, including my favorite, Tres leche cake. Sandy and William were super great! The Owner listing was everything he said the place was.The Villa had information on everything when you arrived- food menus, activities, tipping suggestions, etc. It covered everything!! This is our "second home"! Thanks Norm - I need to book now for next year!!!!! Ciao!

Hi Norm and Harletta,
I wanted to write you a note about our vacation at Simply Paradise. Looking out at all the snow, I miss it terribly.
The villa is beautiful and suited our family perfectly. There was plenty of room to move around and everything was very convenient. Your staff, Gabino, Sandy, Josy and her assistant, are very professional and courteous. The kids loved the pool and used it extensively. We spent some time at the beach and I was surprised how uncrowded it was. The airport pickup and drop-off went without a hitch.
I have to comment on Josy and her assistant. They kept the villa in spotless conditions. The meals Josy cooked were delicious and there was usually not much left as everyone, including the kids, enjoyed them. We really liked the idea of not having to line up for food as occurs in an all-inclusive vacation.
We did do a few excursions:
Ocean World - half of us did the dolphin swim which went over very well. The other half did the dolphin encounter. I did not think it was worth the money. There were too many people, too much waiting around and not enough interaction with the dolphin
Jeep Safari - half of us did this tour and from the reports (I did not do it), it was informative, exciting and exhilarating.
Horseback Riding - 4 of us did this and found the people very nice and friendly
There were a few issues that I want you to be aware of:
The downstairs water heater did not work. I told Gabino about it and he tried to fix it without success
The playstation in the upstairs room did not work
The TV worked great and was used by the kids for quiet time. But the fact that it was in a room that was used for sleeping prevented the adults from watching it at night. No big deal.
If the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely come back to the DR and the Simply Paradise Villa.

We just came back from our Christmas week vacation and I would highly recommend Villa Simply Paradise. It is a beautiful villa, fantastic views, exceedingly clean, well laid out for maximum privacy, walk to good restaurants on the beach. Josie is a great cook and all staff are welcoming, professional and helpful. The "information" books that are there for new guests, pretty much covered everything you would want and need to know about the house and area. While there is plenty to do in the area,( except for one day), we could not bring ourselves to leave the villa and Playa Confresi! (The sea, by the way, was definitely warm enough to swim, even 12/26-1/2) We would definitely return to Paradise.
